Get to Know Me... Again!
Updated: Oct 21

Welcome back, long time no talk! Here's a little reintroduction for those that are new, and an update for all those still following along. Since my last update, I spent a year in Cumming, Georgia pursuing acting. Atlanta had been a major film hub for quite a few years, which abruptly ended as soon as I packed my things and made my way down from Michigan. Disappointed, but still determined, I have found myself back in Orlando, Florida where I have been fortunate enough to become employed by Universal! I have bounced around from aquatics, to acting, and am currently loving my time in attractions. It is always hot and sunny here, something everyone says I'll acclimate to (insert eyeroll here). I have had some incredible opportunities working with this company. My long-term goal is to work for NBC in a late-night-show at 30Rock kind of capacity, but hey, it's a foot in the door!
I am still just as in love with traveling as I have been. My current country list includes Canada, Peru, England, France, and Scotland. I'm not counting my hours long layovers in Portugal and Ireland, but rest assured, I will get there one day! Once I hit my mid-twenties I had to choose a quarter life crisis, obviously, and I landed on running. We'll get into more details later, but I have currently completed four half marathons with no intention of ever doing another one (I always say that, but I promise I really mean it this time, I do!). As much as I hate the actual act of running, it has brought me across the country to destination and challenges that I never thought possible.

I have an absolutely wonderful partner, and we are holding it down in our cozy apartment that sits equidistant from Disney and Universal. As Hannah said, I'm getting the best of both worlds. We were a Disney family growing up so I always feel like I have a touch of home close by, even when I am many miles away from "home". We never made it to Universal until we were all a bit older, so now I am enjoying my time making new memories and showing my family the other side of the theme parks.
I have absolutely loved getting to grow within Universal and it has only solidified my plans of wanted to continue my journey towards New York. I know, I know. It's big and expensive and do I really want the cold again? Do I remember the snow? The joy of becoming a page and working at 30Rock will certainly keep me warm enough.
Despite three entire years since I last posted, I really don't have much new to report. I am still exactly the same as I always have been, just in a different place and a little bit older. It was so nice to yap again, let's hope it's not another few years between this time.
